Eyeliner – #EpicFail or Not?
Create the Perfect Line
Have you ever wondered how to get your eyeliner looking fabulous? I have used eyeliner pencils for quite a few years and was not completely satisfied with the results. I have recently stumbled upon gel eyeliners which are waterproof as well as smudgeproof and are perfect for cheerleaders and dancers. If you are not happy with your eyeliner pencils or liquid liners, gel eyeliners provide a professional look and they are so much easier to apply. The application is smooth and will give you that flawless line you are looking for.
Choose the Right Brush
When applying gel eyeliner, choose a flat edge or thin eye liner brush (see brushes 1-5). I personally like the thin tip eye liner brush like Brush 2 because it is easier to control especially for beginners. The angled brushes are more difficult if you are just starting to experiment with applying gel eyeliners.
How to Apply Indelible
Place the brush into the gel and pull forward to load the brush with a small amount of gel. Then place the brush right where your eyelid and eyelash meet in the middle of your eyelid. Pull the brush out and away along your eyelid toward your cheekbone, reload and do it again right next to the spot you just finished. Do not try to apply the entire line across your eyelid, you will run out of gel. Apply a little at a time. Your perfect line will begin to form, take your time and apply smoothly. You can apply more eyeliner from your tear duct to the middle of your eyelid if you want the line across your entire eyelid. For beginners it is easier to start applying from the middle of your eyelid.
You can clean up any loose ends with a Q-Tip and a dab of eye makeup remover. Applying eyeliner takes some practice but if you’re not impressed with your pencils and the liquid eyeliner is driving you mad, try the Indelible gel Eyeliner at Pretty Girl Cosmetics.
