We take so many things for granted in life, even cheerleading. Those of us who have spent so many years at cheer practices, football games and cheer competitions we seem to think cheerleading is a way of life. For those of you who love cheerleading more than life itself, imagine life without cheerleading.

This story is about some not so ordinary cheerleaders, but they can certainly inspire thousands of people to dance and cheer just as well as – if not better than – them. Seven teenagers at Boca Raton High school in Orlando were chosen to bring something extra special to the sidelines of games and school pep rallies – their own carefree spirit. The members of the Spirit squad at Boca Raton High, a group of disabled students who perform regularly alongside regular cheer and dance teams inspire the fans. They are the true shining stars.
